Brussel Sprouts

Brussel sprouts are very healthy but most people have never tried them.  Here’s an easy recipe to get more greens on your plate.BRUSSEL SPROUTS

Buy the steam-in-bag sprouts.  Steam according to directions but shorten the time a little so they are not steamed completely.  Transfer to a skillet on the stove and saute with a little olive oil, dried dill, garlic powder

OR

freshly minced garlic, lemon zest from fresh lemon, and pepper

OR

garlic powder, dried thyme and black pepper

You can add a little diced cooked bacon or ham for even more yum.

This steam/saute method is great for other bagged veggies as well.  Choose interesting spices, maybe add butter,  get creative.
