Cabbage Saute

We eat cabbage at least once a week in our house and our favorite way to prepare it is this easy saute.  For added YUM, throw in some bacon!CABBAGE SAUTE

Thin-slice a head of green cabbage (or half a green and half a red cabbage) and 1/2 a large red onion. Heat skillet and add a little coconut oil.  Add the onion and cook until translucent.  Add the cabbage, salt and pepper and saute until the cabbage is tender to your liking (we like ours a little crispy).  You could add many other things such as sliced peppers (red, green, other), green onions, mushrooms, etc.
