Sour Slaw

My good friend Amy shared this recipe with me last summer and we have made it several times since then.  We most recently served it with Everyday Paleo’s Beyond Easy Pulled Pork.


1 package pre-shredded slaw mix

3/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1/2 cup olive oil

2 T (I use a little more sometimes) spicy brown mustard

1 Tablespoon celery seed

Mix all ingredients except slaw in bowl.  Pour over slaw, stir to coat.  Refrigerate several hours for best flavor, stirring or shaking occasionally.  I have eaten mine straight out of the mixing bowl and it was good…only made better with a little time for the flavors to meld.

Great with Beyond Easy Pulled Pork or anything off the grill.
